​We have recently acquired numerous pieces of vintage Delftware.  It was our understanding that these items were from a store in Niagara Falls that closed down in the 70's, which makes sense, because many of the items were wrapped in newspapers from the area and time mentioned.  However, we also found many, many items that were wrapped in the La Presse (Montreal, Quebec, Canada) from the 60's.  We also found many items wrapped in a Dutch newspaper from May 1967.  So it is a bit of a conundrum as to when and/or where these actually originate from.

We find the 'white' writing on this piece quite difficult to read, as far as we can determine, it reads as follows:  AIG Prima Boheem8 Glas Clear

Measurements:
Height:  8.25"
Fitter:  2 1/6" (from the outer edges) (the fitter is the bottom part, just below the bulge)
Fitter Height:  1.25"
Bulge:  9 1/8"  around the center.

PLEASE NOTE;  We have given this piece a cursory cleaning, it looks like it should clean up fairly nicely, but has remained wrapped in paper and tucked away in straw (yup, real straw) for many years.  This is a vintage item and will have associated bubbles and minor imperfections.  We see and/or feel no discernible chips, cracks etc.
